Stepping into Catalonia Avinyo was like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. the staff's warm welcome immediately made us feel at home, and the room, though simple, provided all the comfort we needed for a relaxing stay. We opted for a quiet room with a balcony overlooking Avinyo street, perfect for soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the bustling district. The hotel's minimalist design created a peaceful ambiance that was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring the city's historic sites. We enjoyed special touches like a kettle with tea and coffee, VIP amenities in the modern bathroom, and a cozy living area in the superior room. the panoramic views from the rooftop swimming pool were truly breathtaking, offering a refreshing escape from the bustling streets below. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's central courtyard, transformed into the highest vertical natural garden in Barcelona. This green oasis added a touch of tranquility to our urban getaway, and we loved watching the domotic irrigation system contribute to the city's environmental improvement. We also made use of the fitness room and spa, pampering ourselves with a bit of relaxation amidst our sightseeing adventures. Overall, Catalonia Avinyo exceeded our expectations in terms of location, comfort, and service. the proximity to some of the city's most beautiful spots, along with the attentive staff and excellent facilities, made our stay truly memorable.
